Amar Seva COE Capacity Building Programs

Amar Seva Sangam’s Enabling Inclusion Program is a community-based Early Intervention and Child Rehab Program reaching more than 8000 children with disabilities through direct implementation and partnerships through various states in India and Africa.

We have developed our expertise in Early Intervention and Child rehabilitation through our extensive experience in working with community-based rehabilitation initiatives and introducing technology in monitoring these programs since the 1990s. We are passionate about empowering individuals and organizations to provide the highest quality care and support for children with disabilities. We are excited to announce our comprehensive training programs aimed at enhancing knowledge, skills, and capacity in the field of childhood disability care.

We are collaborating with various universities and organizations to share our expertise. Our recent collaborations included:

  • Conducting an online course “Providers”  along with Manipal Academy of Higher Education and McGill University.
  • Conducting an International Symposium on Early Intervention and Family Centered Services: Bridging the Gap to Participation and Inclusion for Children with Disabilities with Manipal College of Health Professions in association with Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute, University of Toronto, McGill University.
  • Conducting a series of webinars on child rehab attended by hundreds of rehab professionals in India and globally.
  • Partnering with the Tamil Nadu Department of Education to conduct teacher training and assist with the co-creation of technology solutions to reach all children with disabilities in government schools in the state.
  • Training other NGOs in launching community-based rehab programs.

  • Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR): Learn how to implement inclusive care strategies, build community networks, and promote the integration of children with disabilities into society.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Enhance your understanding of evidence-based interventions, therapeutic techniques, and best practices for addressing specific disabilities and promoting holistic development.
  • Family Engagement and Support: Discover effective strategies for engaging and supporting parents and families in the care and development of children with disabilities, fostering a collaborative and empowering approach.
