Kaumaram Prashanthi Academy, run by the kaumaram prashanthi trust, is a beacon of hope for children with Autism, Intellectual disabilities and cerebral palsy in Coimbatore, Tamil nadu, India. The school had a humble beginning in the year 2006 as a NGO with three children and blossomed over the years as the premier school in this region. The institution which started with a single therapist and a helper now provides service to 224 children with sixty-five staff members from different disciplines under its wing. The School has now extended its service to Tirupur which was started in July 2010, at present catering to 35 students with the services mentioned below.

Enabling Inclusion® App:
Kaumaram Prashanthi Academy is adopting the Enabling Inclusion® App from Amar Seva Sangam to strengthen the monitoring of activities and children’s progress there by further enhancing the quality of the services. Training for Kaumaram Prashanthi Academy staff to use the App was given from 16th,17th,18th & 19th October. A Total of 27 staff from Kaumaram Prashanthi Academy including 2 Team leads, 3 Physiotherapist, 4 Occupational Therapist, 1 speech Therapist, 13 Special educators, 2 teachers, 1 yoga teacher, 1 IT person were participated in the training.
