Indian Autism Center: Advancing Digital Inclusion in Autism Care
The Indian Autism Center (IAC) in Kolkata is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with autism through care, research, education, and advocacy that will be launching new programs next year. Guided by the belief that autism is a different way of experiencing the world—not a disease to be cured—IAC promotes acceptance, compassion, and evidence-based support for lifelong inclusion and independence.
Launching
Amar Seva Sangam will be helping them launch their brand new initiatives. —Samaavesh (residential care and therapy), Manan (training and professional development), and Khoj (research and dissemination).
Partnership with Amar Seva Sangam
To strengthen its digital systems, IAC partnered with Amar Seva Sangam (ASGA) to implement the Enabling Inclusion® (EI) App and Model. A four-day online training (August 8, 9, 11, and 12, 2025) conducted by ASSA Training and Technology Team oriented IAC’s psychologists and IT professionals on app workflows, data entry, goal setting, and multidisciplinary coordination.
Consultancy Collaboration
Furthering the partnership, IAC and ASSA signed a consultancy agreement to develop a customized rehabilitation software for IAC’s residential program that will be used in addition to the EI app. ASSA will provide technology and rehabilitation expertise to design a robust, scalable, and secure system that enhances operational efficiency, data management, and communication.
Towards Technology-Enabled Inclusion
With the EI App and the upcoming software solution, IAC is building strong digital capacity to coordinate services, monitor progress, and improve collaboration. This partnership marks a milestone in integrating technology into autism care—ensuring structured, inclusive, and data-driven support for every individual with autism.
