Shishu Sarothi NGO: Empowering Lives, Celebrating Diversity
Shishu Sarothi Centre for Rehabilitation & Training for Multiple Disability is a beacon of hope in North-East India. Since its inception in 1987, this non-profit organization has been tirelessly working to enable and empower children and individuals with disabilities. Their commitment to ensuring equal opportunities and full participation in society has touched the lives of thousands.
Enabling Inclusion® App:
The Shishu Sarothi NGO team has decided to adopt the Enabling Inclusion® App developed by Amar Seva Sangam. This strategic move aims to enhance the quality of services by strengthening monitoring activities and tracking children’s progress. Recently, a comprehensive training session was conducted for the Shishu Sarothi team staff, equipping them with the necessary skills to effectively utilize the app. The training took place on February 16th and 17th at the Shishu Sarothi NGO in Guwahati. A total of 14 staff members participated in the training, including the Project Coordinator, IT Personnel, 10 Physiotherapists, and 2 Audiologists & Speech Pathologists.
