Empowering CCI-Based Disability Care: ASSA Partners with PACT India

We are pleased to share a significant step forward in strengthening disability care within Child Care Institutions (CCIs) in India.

As part of our growing network of collaborators, Amar Seva Sangam (ASSA) recently partnered with PACT India, a Bangalore-based organization working with Orphan children with disabilities through a distinctive institutional rehabilitation model in Karnataka.

From April 23rd to 29th, 2025, we conducted a specialized training program for 11 multidisciplinary team members from PACT India, delivered in two batches. The sessions focused on enhancing skills in Occupational Therapy interventions for children with developmental challenges, led by our experienced Occupational Therapist.

This collaboration marks a key milestone—PACT India will now begin using the Occupational Therapy component of our Enabling Inclusion® App to plan, document, and deliver high-quality interventions. This digital integration will help streamline service delivery, support interdisciplinary coordination, and improve outcomes for children in institutional settings.

The Enabling Inclusion® App, developed by Amar Seva Sangam, is a comprehensive digital platform designed for community- and institution-based early intervention and rehabilitation. It enables organizations to provide consistent, data-driven care with tools for assessment, planning, progress tracking, and outcome measurement.

We’re proud to support PACT India as they embed inclusive, technology-enabled practices into their rehabilitation model—expanding impact and access for some of the most vulnerable children.
