Through our partner organization in Canada – Handi-Care Intl., we host rehab students, faculty and professionals from international universities for placements, both tele-rehab (during COVID-19) and in-person for knowledge sharing in Amar Seva’s Sangam’s Enabling Inclusion program.
We have signed affiliation agreements with 11 universities across Canada and USA to facilitate these clinical placements in India.
We have hosted more than 300 rehab students and 60 faculty and volunteers from the fields of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Pathology.
Placements focus on capacity building for both students and rehab workers in the Enabling Inclusion program, consultative care for children and families, project work and research. For a list of research publication that came out of these collaborations – please see: https://earlyintervention.amarseva.org/publications-presentations/
